He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Suzanne Moore; his parents, Clarence Moore and Jettie Moore; and his siblings, Donald Moore, Charles Moore and Susan Franklin.
He is survived by: his children, John Moore (Mary) and Phyllis Fenn (John); and his grandchildren, Michael Moore, Britney Fenn and Katherine Suzanne Fenn. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or The Leukemia Research Foundation in memory of Phil Moore.
