He is survived by: his wife Bettie Jo Simpson; his sisters, Bonnie Fay, Mary Sexton and Brenda (Fred Dumas); and his children, Philip (Jennifer Simpson), Terry Trussell, Donna (John Gaines), Keith (Cindy Simpson) and Faith (Jimmy Collins). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
