It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray Dansby of Troy, Alabama, born in Ariton, Alabama, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan and Mollie Owens Dansby, Sr.; his siblings, Travis Dansby, Dan Dansby, Jr., Erma Blair, Verlon Dorrill, Ralph Dansby, Veron Dansby, Mary Kate Moore and Rex Dansby; his granddaughter Celeste Sloan Kitchens; and his pet Sam.
He is survived by: his wife Louise J. Dansby; his daughters, Pam Dansby Sloan (Frazier) and Kim Dansby Rugg; his grandchildren, Adam Murray Sloan, Mollie Dalton Rugg and Jared Ware Sloan; and his sister Nell Hanson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
