She was predeceased by: her husband George Perry Sanders; her granddaughter Julianna Goolsby; her parents, John Lou and Ida Mae Lee Wambles; her siblings, John Junior Wambles and Geraldine Warrick; and her siblings-in-law, Eugene Lassiter and Martha Wambles.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Goolsby (Ronnie) of Montgomery, AL and Danny Sanders (Debra) of Troy; her grandchildren, Justin Goolsby (Monica) of Gulf Breeze, FL, Heather Guerrero (Joe) of Wetumpka, AL, Celeste Mohon (Chris) of Andalusia, AL, Malerie Hill (Brandon) of Troy and Alex Brook (Austin) of Brantley, AL; and her siblings, Mae Lassiter and Leroy Wambles (Ann). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Bush Memorial Baptist Church (605 South George Wallace Drive Troy, AL 36081).
