He was predeceased by: his father Harold Hughes; and his sister Susan Hughes Senn. He is survived by: his son Shawn Hughes (Veronica); his grandchildren, Olivia Grace Hughes and Hunter Hughes; his brothers, Danny Hughes and Rex Hughes (Rhonda); his cousin Lynn Luckenbaugh; and his aunt Sue Tindol. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nephews, and cousins.
