She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Hezekiah and Mary Ruth; her husband Willie James Blakely, Sr.; her son Terrell Blakely of Union Springs, AL; and her siblings, Lee Artis Harris (Glover) of Rochester, N. Y. and L. J. McGowan of Haines City, FL..
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Blakely of Union Springs, AL, Willie J. Blakely Jr. of Union Springs, AL, Tony Blakely (Ieshia) of Los Angeles, CA, Tanya Blakely McKinnon (Travis) of Union Springs, AL and Quintin Blakely (Marshall) of Union Springs, AL. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.
