She was predeceased by: her husband Shelbie Dalton Griffin; her son Shelbie Herman Griffin (Joy); her parents, Jackson Yancy and Maybell Yancy; and her siblings, Deltris Spivey, Materree Barron, Wittalou Barron, Larou Yancey and Darrel Yancy.
She is survived by: her children, Jackson Wilburn Griffin (Kathy), Linda Diane Griffin and John Richard 'Ricky Griffin; her grandchildren, Marx Griffin, Cindy Griffin, Jody Miller, April Madaris and Shane Madaris; her great grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Cochran and Bailey Rose Griffin; and her great great grandchild Adalynn Reese Spicer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
