He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Long; his children, Deborra Street of Marion, AL and John M. Long Jr. (Debbie) of Ragland, AL; his granddaughter Melissa Long Williamson; his great grandchildren, John Cameron Parham and David Patrick Williamson; and his sister Mary McConatha.
