He is survived by: his daughters, Penelope Pope Messick (Ken) and Pamela Pope Leverett (Chad); his grandchildren, Andrea Messick Jacobs (Justin), Kristen Roberson (Chad), Stephen Grissette (Kacey), Paul Messick (Hailey) and Mary Elizabeth Flowers (Austin); and his siblings, Mary Jane Niesen, Billy Mack Pope, Marie Tomesina Howard and David Merrill Pope. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
