She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Stinson and Lucille Moody Stinson; her husband Les Jackson; her brother Phillip Earl Stinson; her niece Joy Jackson; and her brother-in-law Ron Jackson.

She is survived by: her daughter Shayne Slingluff (Ben) of Dothan, AL; her grandchildren, Jack of Dothan, Sadie of Dothan, Zeke of Dothan and Bo of Dothan; her siblings, Ann Stinson Webb Brundidge (Larry) and Joe Stinson; her sister-in-law Hazel Jackson; her nephews, Phillip Webb (Shelly) and Joshua Webb (Sammy); and her niece Kaye Jackson.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Brundidge Methodist Playground fund. .
