He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Edna Mancil; his daughters, Sherry Lynn Oakes and Peggy Lynn Donaldson; his grandchildren, Benjamin McLendon and Melissa Sue Walker; his parents, Clem Mancil and Beatrice Mancil; his brothers, Hermon Mancil and Andy Holmes; and his children-in-law, Larry Henderson, Clarence Catt and Margaret McLendon.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Mancil, Jr. of Clio, Mary Jane Catt of Troy, Willie Jackson McLendon of Clayton, Gloria Faye Johnson (Mark) of Troy, Donald Gerald McLendon of Roten, Ronald Earl McLendon of Banks, Oscar Paul McLendon of Clio and Linda Sue McLendon (John Williams) of Troy; and his grandson Dallas Johnson. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
