He was predeceased by: his parents, Esker L. Davis, Sr. and Sally C. Davis; his son Jeffrey "Jeff" Davis; and his brothers, Esker L. Davis, Jr. and Hubert C. Davis, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Judy S. Davis; his son Jack Franklin Davis, Jr.; his grandson Jack "Trey" Franklin Davis, III; his stepgrandsons, Hunter Motes (Amanda) and Halston Motes; his siblings, Roy R. Davis (Sandy), Sarah D. Allen (Joe Bob), Judy Chancey and Alice Williford; his sisters-in-law, Winnie Davis and Willo Jean Davis; and his friend Bennie "Bo" Lee Pritchett. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
