She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Lowell Vaught; her parents, L. J. Mitchell and Annie Merle Mitchell; and her brother John Roger Mitchell. She is survived by: her sons, John Thomas Vaught (Rena) and Timothy Lowell Vaught; her grandchildren, John Thomas Vaught, Jr. (Jessica Levy), Jessica Leigh Towne (Robbie) and Jennifer Marie Bryant (Trent); and her siblings, Harold Dean Mitchell (Mary), Betty Walker (Teannie), Mable Horn (Bruce Grimes), Hilda Biggerstaff and Nellie Mobley (Lee).
The family requests that memorials be made to Springhill Baptist Church, the Mt. Moriah Cemetery fund, or your favorite charity.
