He is survived by: his wife Karen Bullard; his daughter Amanda Challancin (Mark); his grandchildren, Hope Challancin and John Mark Challancin; and his brother Glen E. Bullard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 1053 County Rd 1111, Troy, Alabama.
