He was predeceased by: his wife Nell Hester; and his parents, Oscar Hester and Ophelia Hester. He is survived by: his sons, James E. Hester (Jane) and Tony W. Hester (Linda Avera); his grandchildren, Angela Baughman (Dave) and James T. Hester (Jenny); his great grandchildren, Jayden Hester, Faith Baughman and Gaven Hester; and his sister Mary Smith.
