She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Hughes and Dorothy Hughes; her sisters, Denny Hughes and Deborah H. Thorpe; and her former husband Bruce Tyre.
She is survived by: her husband Craig Nelson; her children, Wendy Watson (Kevin) and Craig Tyre; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Peach (James), Sydney Watson, Courtni Bodiford (Josh) and Gabrielle Tyre; and her sister Dana Glisson. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
