He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Hiram Reeves and Mattie Corbitt Reeves; his brother John Martin; and his father-in-law Robert R. Dunn. He is survived by: his daughters, Jo Ann Reeves-Elliott of Pelham and Alison Reeves Chandler (Jonathan) of Atlanta, Georgia; his wife Kay Dunn Reeves; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Elliott, Jillian Elliott and Lucy Chandler; his sister Mary "Honey" Hasselwander (John) of Troy; his mother-in-law Faye P. Jordan of Troy; his siblings-in-law, Jo D. Gay (Carson) of Gulf Shores and Richard Dunn (Pam) of Troy; his uncle Jim Corbitt (Mary) of Atlanta; and his pets, Jackson and Balki. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
