He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Mae and Lawrence Leonard Saunders; his wife Marion Livingston Saunders; his siblings, Adelle Danley, Carolyn Mack, Gladys Barbee, Edna Benton and Robert Saunders; his daughter Susan Maria Saunders; and his son-in-law Eddie Jennings.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Jennings Whitson (Bob) of Troy and Nancy Saunders Gresham (Doug) of Bentonville, Ark.; his grandchildren, Katie Jennings Shurett (Will) of Daphne, Jill Jennings Davis (Ben) of Daphne, Betsey Jennings of Daphne, Abby Gresham Margeson (Matt) of Auburn and Sam Gresham (Kennedy) of Franklin, Tenn.; his great grandchildren, Jay Shurett of Daphne, Drew Shurett of Daphne and John Lawrence Margeson of Auburn; his sister Restaurant; his nephews, Steve Mack of Pensacola, Fla., Paul Mack of Pensacola, Fla. and John Lawrence "J. L."; his friends, Steve Stephens of Troy and Climmie Seymore of Troy; and also Clemmie L. Seymore of Troy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
