He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Duncan and Polly Duncan; his parents-in-law, Charlie and Glennie Graydon; and his brother-in-law James Alford.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Duncan; his children, Shay Jones (Jason) and Todd Duncan (Jenny); his grandchildren, Joselyn Jones (Dakotah) and Finn Duncan; his sisters, Sheila Lee and Debra Hill (Kenny); and his siblings-in-law, Glenda Campbell, Ruby Alford, Thomas Graydon, Warren Walker and Carolyn Walker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
