She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Scarborough (Varn) and Troy Scarborough; her former husband William Eston "Buddy" Hope, III; her children, William Eston "Skip" Hope IV, Marianne Hope Bennett (James), Robert Troy "Bob" Hope and Samuel Louis "Sam" Hope; and her husband John Grady Mears. She was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
