She was predeceased by: her husband Rex S. Grissette; her son Randall Grissette; and her parents, J. D. Ellis and Ella Flowers Ellis. She is survived by: her daughter Susan G. Byrd (Brian) of Brundidge; her grandchildren, Brandy McMillian (Andy) of Brundidge, Brenna Stephens (Andrew) of Brundidge and Morgan Grissette of Troy; her siblings, Merle Jones of Brundidge, Mary Lou Sanders (Ray) of Brundidge and Annette Carr of Brundidge; and her great grandchildren, Zackery McMillian, Abbigail McMillian, Brandon McMillian, Jayden McMillian, Ivey Grace Stephens, Julia Hargrove and James Stephens. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Shady Grove Cemetery Fund.
