She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Harris DeGaris (Annesley); her stepchildren, Dena Gibson Byars (Jack) and David Todd Gibson (Mabeth); her grandchildren, John Annesley DeGaris III, Isabella Loring DeGaris and Eva Margaux DeGaris; her stepgrandchildren, Deanna Gibson Jones (Patrick), Nancy Gibson Heninger (Sean), Jackson Van Buren Byars (Mary Joanna Melton) and Gibson Walker Byars; her siblings, Denise Lila Downing and James Henry Pouncey (Shelia); and her sister-in-law Billie Pouncey. She is also survived by 6 step great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (1621 US-29, Troy, AL 36079).
