She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Harlyn Carr; her parents, JD Ellis and Ella Mae Ellis; and her siblings, Bill Ellis (Rosalina), Merle Jones (Joe), Ralph Ellis (Bennie Ruth), Ray Ellis (Pauline), Roy Ellis (Inez), Gilmer Ellis (Louise), Betty Grissette (Rex) and Johnny Fox Ellis (Bud).
She is survived by: her daughter Fran Johnson (Robert); her grandchildren, Grace Haulie Johnson, Ashton Lewey (Josh) and Chase Johnson (Whitney); her sister Mary Lou Sanders (Ray); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Garrett and Carolyn Dixon. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
