He was predeceased by: his wife Effie Whitlow Lamon; his sister Melba Smith; his daughter-in-law Peggy Lamon; and his great grandchild Zach Hillis. He is survived by: his sons, Eual Lamon (Jean) and Dwight Lamon (Susan); and his sisters, Merle Lamon and Burnice Lentz. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and four nieces.
