She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Phillips and Lucy Morgan Phillips; and her brother Timothy Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Emily Owens; and her siblings, David Phillips, Sharon Hill, Janice Haggard and Anna Dotson.

A memorial service was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oak Grove FCM Church (307 Co Rd 356, Trinity, AL 35673).
