He was predeceased by: his wife Paula Shepard; his father Rev. Freddie Shepard; and his niece Courtney Shepard. He is survived by: his daughters, Mindy Wood (Jeffrey) and Bethany Morgan (Brett); his grandchildren, Anthony, Braxton, Savannah and Damien; his mother Linda Shepard Allman (Dennis); and his brother Freddie "Chip" Shepard (Karen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
