He was predeceased by: his stepfather Frank Putman; and his brother Richard Putman. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Reeves Cheatham; his daughter Brandy Simmons (Philip); his sisters, Pat Haynes, Sandra Alexander and Edie Fanau; and his grandchildren, Savannah Simmons, Bryson Simmons, Braylon Orr and Liberty Mason.
