With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sidney Jackson Nelson of Trinity, Alabama, who passed away on October 5, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bethal Nelson and Ophelia Mae McDougal Nelson; his daughter Evelyn Nelson; his siblings, James William "Shorty" Nelson, Harrison Nelson and Flossie Mae Burns; and his grandson Alexander Ross Nelson.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Nelson (Jeanie) of Moulton, Joseph Nelson (Cassie) of Sevierville, TN and Sherry Bryant (Phillip) of Trinity; and his siblings, Thomas Nelson (Sue) of Moulton, Annie Lue Nesmith of Hillsboro and Martha Ruth McCay (Andrew) of Moulton. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
