He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice Morgan; his children, Daniel Morgan (Ellen) and Sarah Alice Morgan; his grandsons, William and Benjamin Morgan; his stepchildren, Mary Erwin Simmons (Parker) and Clay Henderson; and his sister Linda Moore (Lucas).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Trinity United Methodist Church Missions or UAB Neuro Oncology Research Fund.
