She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Bass and Ona Mai Glover Bass; her sons, Russell Scott Cato and Richard Drew Cato; and her siblings, Julian Bass (Martha Ann), Dwight Bass (Sandy), Thomas Bass, Elease Bass (Biley), Virginia Hill (George) and Jeanine Merrell (Joe).
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery N. Cato and Pamela K. Pullen; and her grandchildren, Josh Denmark (Jennifer), Adam Denmark (Stephanie), Matt Denmark (Amy), Jennifer Newby (Bill), Dusty Cato (LaRhonda), Corey Cato, Whitney Scruggs, Jason Cato and Kevin Cato (Ashley). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
