He is survived by: his parents, James Nelson and Teresa Gaston Nelson of Trinity, AL; his sister Jamie Gilbert (Brandon) of Nashville, TN; his nephew Ryne Gilbert of Nashville, TN; his aunts and uncles, Alan Gaston of Trinity, AL, John Nelson of Decatur, AL, Betsy Knighten of Priceville, AL and Martha Steveson of Decatur; and his cousin Shaun Gaston of Oklahoma.
