He was predeceased by: his parents, Era Smith Jackson and James Clifford Jackson; and his brother John Charles Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Taft Jackson; his children, Robin Jackson Ladner, Jeffrey Michael Jackson (Cathrene) and Steven Alan Jackson (Ashley); his grandchildren, Jacob Ladner (Erika), Braden Ladner (Kristin), Macy Ladner, Nathan Ladner, Raleigh Ladner, Hazel Jackson, Clara Jackson, Madeline Jackson, Quinn Jackson, Nolen Jackson and Rickey Jackson; and his brother James Gregory Jackson. He is also survived by 1 niece, 2 nephews and many friends.
