He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Cottingham and Anna Owens Cottingham. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Cottingham of Trinity, Jamin Cottingham (Stephanie) of Trinity and Scott Cottingham (Kristel) of Trinity; his sister Debra Bradley (Mike) of Amherst, VA; and his close friends, Mac and Debbie McMurtrie of Trinity. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
