Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Shumate and Bertha Weir Shumate; her husband Joseph Bramble; her daughter Teresa Meyers; and her sisters, Dorothy Vanhook and Janice Gross.
She is survived by: her children, Tracie McCreless (Frank) and Steve Meyers (Maleea); and her grandchildren, Brayden Meyers, Dylan and Lindsie McCreless. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shelton Funeral Home (2105 Beltline Rd SW, Decatur, AL 35601).
