He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Heflin; his son David Heflin; his parents, Louis Heflin and Geneva Heflin; and his siblings, Lloyd Heflin, Junior Heflin, Malcom Heflin, L. D. Heflin and Shirley Berryman.
He is survived by: his children, Christy Heflin, Tina Borden (Willy Borden) and Ray Heflin; and his sister Paulette Bates. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson.
