She is survived by: her mother Tommie Hillard; her husband Armele Scruggs; her sons, Nichrien Smith Sr., Lamont Dosie Jr., Marquis Dobbs and Demico Fields; her siblings, Latoya Hillard, Shera Hillard, John Hillard, Tony Hillard, Darnell Harris and Marvin Hillard; her grandchildren, Nichrien Smith Jr. and Aaleigh Smith; and her friend Sara Williamson.
