As we bid adieu to Patricia Ann's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Patricia Ann has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Benson Stokes Jr. and Terry Stokes. She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Calvert; her daughter Jennifer Jones (Derek); her grandson Dylan; and her siblings, Mike Stokes (Mary), Linda Wood (Jimmy) and Susie Claburn (Bobby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Messmer Goodwin Funeral Home (225 Dana Rd, Warrior, AL 35180). The lying in state was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
