She was predeceased by: her husband Robert W. L. Hayse; her parents, Jessie James and Myrtle Lee Moore Hawkins; and her siblings, Doris Marie Burg, Lilly May Green and Lester Hawkins.
She is survived by: her children, Bobby Hayse (Dena McCay), Peggy Price and Denise Kelley; her grandchildren, Rebecca Lee (Patrick Lee), Tricia Self (Chad), Nicole Kelley, Tiffany Self, Johnnie McCay, Sylas McCay and Shane McCay; her great grandchildren, Mary Logan, Becky Logan, Michelle Logan, Katherine Casey, Tristan Self, Emma Self and Luke Duncan; her nephew James Todd (Helen Robinson); and her brothers, James Auburn Hawkins (Evelyn) and Terry Wayne Hawkins.
