She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Self and Elizabeth Self; and her brothers, Billy, Charles, Jimmy and Richard Self.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Melvin; her son Christopher Haygood; her siblings, Tommy, Phillip, Robert "Dickie" Self, Carlene Shoemake, Bernice Chamblee, Sharon Dorsey and Jackie Love King; and her friend JT. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
