He is survived by: his wife Lynn Love Doty; his children, Megan Taylor (Olin), Mary Doty Walker and Tyler Doty (Ebbony); his mother Sue Cleghorn; and his sisters, Wendy Painter (Jason) and Christina McEntrie (David). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
