He was predeceased by: his daughter Debra Campbell (Scott); and his parents, George Barnette and Zella Mae Tyler. He is survived by: his children, Charles Freddy Engler, Donna K. Melvin and Kelly Shoemaker (Mike). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces nephews, and cousins.
