With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F McAlpine of Trafford, Alabama, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lewis and Florene Harper McAlpine; his daughter Cindy Dacus; and his siblings, Charles, Bobby, Richard McAlpine and Doris Loyd.

He is survived by: his son Robbie McAlpine; his son-in-law Brian Dacus; and his sister Mary Ellen McCullough. He is also survived by six grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
