He is survived by: his wife June Wallace Sims of Butler; his sons, Mike Sims of Butler and Lamar Sims (Toria) of Butler; his siblings, Russell Sims of Butler, Charles "Pete" Tyson Sims of Butler, Katie Sims of Butler, Doris Boyd of Butler and Susie Baker; his grandchildren, Timmy Sims, Jason Sims, Joey Sims, Bryant Sims and Katie Brooks; and his great grandchildren, Gabriel Sims, Joshua Sims, Tristan Sims, Drew Sims, Kara Sims, Brianna Sims, Peyton Sims, Tayden Sims and Thatcher Sims.
