He was predeceased by: his daughter Kim Stafford; his parents, Roy Lucas and Fannie Turner Lucas; and his brother Richard Galen Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Brown Lucas of Toxey, AL; his children, Scotty Lucas of Aquilla, AL and Stacey Ann Byrd (Brad) of Irmo, SC; his sisters, Donna Murphy of Aquilla, AL and Debbie Lucas of Toxey, AL; his grandchildren, Sierra Stafford, Kimberly Stafford, Trevor Lucas (Kay), Madilyne Lucas, Blair Manley, Zack Hurt and Brady Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Braylen Lucas, Beau Lucas, Emmy Goodwin, Lakyn Goodwin, Karter Addison, Daxx Prestage, Avey Murray and Gandon Murray.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home (116 Main St, Gilbertown, AL 36908). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
