It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Allan Little Jr. of Toxey, Alabama, born in Astoria, Oregon, who passed away on March 28, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Allan Little, Sr. and Dorothy Helen Storey Little; and his grandparents, George Guy Storey, Helene Marie Michel of San Diego, Arthur Frederick Little and Mabel Marguerite Trott of Pembroke, Maine..

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Little of Choctaw County, Alabama.; his children, Brian Allan Campbell (Elizabeth), Gerald Allan Little III (Georgia), Tamara Jane Kennedy (Michael), Stephanie Ann Gibson McGowan (Stephen) and Kristina Michelle Crosswell Johnson (Bruce); his grandchildren, Michaela Nicole Kennedy Rosati (Joey), McKenzie Elizabeth Kennedy Lehnhardt (Dillon), Caroline Hampton Gibson, Keith Legare Gibson, Jr., Robert Campbell Gibson, Rachael Grace Campbell, Amelia Jane Campbell, Gabrielle "Gigi" Emilynn Little, Grayson Banks Johnson and Carlisle Brooke Johnson; and his brother-in-law Curtis Lenoir Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Choctaw County Historical Museum, P. O. Box 162, Gilbertown, Alabama 36908 have been requested by the family.

“I am heartbroken about my special friend, Jerry! He always stayed connected with me after retiring. My last note from him was after I returned from my high school reunion in Santa Clara, California last August 2023. He enjoyed talking and laughing about both of us growing up and going to high school in California. He was my favorite boss at Ingalls Shipbuilding, Pascagoula when working in Engnr. Planning Yard and when I later moved up to Contracts Admin. His "Spirit" remains in us all.”
