She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis E. Carney Sr. and Sadie Mae Mazingo; her stepfather Joseph Milton Mazingo; her brothers, Otis E. Carney Jr. and Paul E. Carney; her stepbrother Joseph Mazingo; her grandson Sheldon Gourgues; and her stepgranddaughter Heidi Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rose Ann Gourgues and Michelle Jackson (Randall); her grandchildren, Jordan Sikes (Justin) and Gabe Gourgues; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan Jackson, Christian Jackson West (Casey) and Brandon Jackson (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Lakyn Sikes and River Sikes; her stepsisters, Wilma Mazingo, Louise Mazingo, Deborah Mazingo, Marcia Turner and Jackie Gibson; and her close friends, Donna Robinson and Brenda Jones. She is also survived by 5 step great grandchildren.
