We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, Bonnie Gilbert of Toxey, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Williams Jackson and Rosie Lee Booker Jackson; and her sister Kathleen Jackson Bonner. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Gilbert Diaz (Paul) of Tuscaloosa, Kimberly Gilbert Nelson (Mike) of Toxey and Michi Gilbert Lunceford (Chandler) of Theodore; her grandchildren, John Davis Diaz (Katie), Meredith Jenkins (Tucker), Anna Claire Diaz, Maggi Diaz, Neely Nelson (Kolby), Tatum Nelson (Blakeley), Tucker Nelson, Bright Lunceford, Graham Lunceford, Adam Bonner and Addi Grace Bonner; and her great grandchildren, Shiloh Nelson, Rhett Nelson, Briggs Nelson, Davis Diaz and Mac Diaz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Toxey Baptist Church (16420 AL-17, Toxey, AL 36921). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Toxey Baptist Church, PO Box 230 Toxey, AL 36921.
