She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Maples; her son Tommy Maples; her grandsons, Zach Cooner and Buddy Maples; and her parents, Homer Hamilton and Velma Hamilton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Earnest of Fayette and Susan Cooner (John) of Townley; and her sister Gladys Burkett (LB) of Fayette. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
