He was predeceased by: his parents, William Copeland and Maye Lansdell Copeland; his wife Peggy Copeland; and his sister June Burney. He is survived by: his daughter Charlotte Chan Copeland; and his siblings, Judy Bain (Waymon) and Terrell Copeland (Diane). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
