He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Carlton Whitten Sr. and Joyce Jordan Whitten; and his sisters, Tammy Hendric and Donna Kilburn. He is survived by: his wife Donna Conroy Whitten; his son Eric S. Tighe; his siblings, David Whitten and Cynthia Whitten Crane; his pet Little Bit; his aunts, Kathrine Whitten Kennady, Diane Whitten and Patricia Catlin; his uncle Terry Jordan (Bishop Clay); and also Charlie Adcox. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
